I-800a Approval 8-30-2010

We received today, 8-30-2010, our I-800a approval. Basically this is the immigration approval for SaraJane to come to the US. It was mailed to the National Visa Center where they will approve her Visa. Now we wait for a piece of paper to come from the National Visa Center that will then be sent to our in China rep who will take it to the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China where they have to give their stamp of approval which takes 2 weeks. From there the paperwork is sent to the Chinese Center for Adoptive Affairs where they will process our Travel Approval. All said, it looks like we will be able to travel the first of November, which is impossible because of the Asia Games in Guangzhou. So, December still looks like the month. God's timing is Perfect, God's timing is Perfect, God's timing is Perfect!

A day in the life of teens and tots...

Ok, big day today! Trey got his license this morning. What a bitter-sweet day. The beauty of it is he now has his own transportation - less places for mom to be driving. The sad part of it is he now has his own trasportation and mom has a lot of praying to do. So Trey got 4 wheels today and little brother Luke, got two! This evening, Luke learned how to ride a 2 wheel bike without training wheels! Way to go Trey and Luke!!!!

August 9, 2010 LOA!!!!!

Today we received our official Letter of Approval from China. NOW, it is official. We signed the acceptance papers in the afternoon of August 9, 2010. Now we wait, AGAIN. This time we wait for SaraJane's US Visa so she can enter into the US. We have also applied for our China Visa's. It is really going to happen - YIPPEE! Hang in there sweet baby girl your forever family is coming...

Dossier in China

Our dossier is officially in China with a Log-in-date of April 19, 2010. It's the hurry up and wait game as now we wait for our Letter of Acceptance which normally comes in 2 months.

I-800 mailed

Our I-800 was mailed to the US government on Monday, February 1st! Now we wait for 4-8 weeks for the gov't to mail us an invitation to get fingerprinted. It seems this is a hurry up and wait and wait some more game! The good news is we got an update on SaraJane! She is so cute and looks healthy and happy. We are so grateful for your prayers!

Jiang Si Te

Our sweet little girl has been in great care. We have had a social worker coming to our house. She asked many questions. After about two weeks we recieved our approvel. China has pre-approved us. This means that we are for sure to get her. We are very ecited.

Our sweet baby girl...

We announce with overwhelming joy our newest addition, Jiang Site! She is waiting for her forever family in Pinagjiang China. She is in foster care with her foster family and we truly believe she is being well taken care of! God sent her to us throught the intercession of St. Anthony. We are all over the moon and terribly busy completing paperwork and our homestudy. We hope to bring her home in April at the earliest and August at the latest. Her birthday is January 13, 2009. She and Luke are 3 years apart. Please pray for her, her foster family and us her foverver family as we prepare to welcome another one of Gods's children home. We appreciate your prayers and support more than we can express! As Mary waited to recieve her baby in the creche, so we wait to receive our sweet baby girl. Mary, Jesus and Adoptive Father Joseph, please pray for us!
