I-800a Approval 8-30-2010

We received today, 8-30-2010, our I-800a approval. Basically this is the immigration approval for SaraJane to come to the US. It was mailed to the National Visa Center where they will approve her Visa. Now we wait for a piece of paper to come from the National Visa Center that will then be sent to our in China rep who will take it to the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China where they have to give their stamp of approval which takes 2 weeks. From there the paperwork is sent to the Chinese Center for Adoptive Affairs where they will process our Travel Approval. All said, it looks like we will be able to travel the first of November, which is impossible because of the Asia Games in Guangzhou. So, December still looks like the month.
